As part of a stainless steel balustrade. The support is placed at the top of the post, and allows for a stainless steel tube to be welded to it.

What is it made out of ?
316 grade Stainless Steel in a Satin finish.

What are the important dimensions ?
This fitting fits into the end of 50.8 x 50.8mm square stainless tube with a 1.5mm wall thickness.

As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel with a Satin finish, it is more than suitable for use outside.

How do you fix it to the stainless steel tube ?
For the DIY market you can use a suitable glue (found on our online shop). For the professional fabricator, you can weld and polish to create a seamless finish.
