Sometime it is not possible to fix a stainless steel post to a horizontal surface. So if you only have a vertical surface to work with, the side mount post support is the perfect solution to this problem.

This can be the case on a staircase where you may have a closed stringer supporting the treads; and placing a post of the treads may night be practical.

The side mount support allows for a 50.8mm round tube (with 1.6mm wall thickness) to easily slide into the bracket, to provide a simple solution.
