Back in the 1980's we were asked by a manufacturer of wooden jigsaw puzzles as to whether we could produce a small wooden handle/knob that they would use to fit to timber letters and numbers on childrens jigsaw puzzles.

Verandah posts look great on any traditional Australian home, but the addition of a post mould, can make them look even better.

For a number years we have had a range of post moulds made in polyurethane (hardened foam) for 90sq and 115sq posts; but due to circumstances out of our control, we were not able to source these anymore; and as a result we decided to re-produce the product in timber.

Being a timber manufacturing business, we are regularly required to glue timber together to be able to make a product. For example, the FL526R 130x130 turned dining table leg that we produce is not able to come from a solid piece of timber due to its large size; instead to make it we glue 4 pieces of timber together.

In terms of turned dining table legs, the largest size that we manufacture is from 130 x 130mm Pine timber; so when we recently had a request from a customer to make them some from 180 x 180mm Jarrah, we were a little surprised.

Verandah Posts have been a big selling part of our product range for the last 2 decades. Over this period we would have made 10's of 1000's of verandah posts in turned designs to suit early Australian style homes.

Stair post tops are a great way of decorating the top of a newel post. For the last few years we have been making a couple of different designs of post caps that drop over either a 90sq or 115sq newel post.

We have been making round timber handrails for a number of years now; but there is not much point having a handrail that doesn't have an end to it !

Luckily for you we manufacture a domed timber end cap that is a simple but effective way of finishing off the end of the handrail.

If you are building a french provincial style kitchen or a fireplace mantle; why not incorporate one of our fluted or turned wooden corner posts into your design.

These posts are 900mm in length and are available in either a fluted or turned style. Both designs are available in either 90x90mm or 68x68mm timber

A number of years back a local lounge manufacturer asked us if we could make a facing in timber that they were up until then buying in plastic.

With two 5-axis CNC's to choose from, we were able to write a program to reproduce the product in timber. As you can see from the photos below, we manufacture the facing in batches of 4 at a time.
