Australian hardwoods like Spotted Gum, Blackbutt and Sydney Blue Gum look fantastic, and are currently very popular being used for timber flooring.

Obviously if you are having a staircase built or needing a piece of furniture made; it is desirable to make it from the same timber as you are using on the floor. The issue with this, is that these timbers are not available in large sections, which means that you will need to glue together pieces to make up the final size you require; which in itself presents a problem, as the characteristics that make these timber popular are the same ones that also make it difficult to glue.

There are many products that we manufacture that we are proud of, but the one near the top of the list is our treated timber verandah posts.

The reason we are so proud of this range of products is because of the way we are now able to effortlessly manufacture them; which is as a result of many years of mechanical engineering work performed by my Grandpa, Ted, over 2 decades ago.

We have 13 different treated timber verandah brackets available for sale. All of which are manufactured at our Adelaide factory.

The 2 largest verandah brackets that we produce are our AB020 and AB021 designs; which measure 415 x 240mm and 450 x 260mm respectively.

Late last year we added a large range of Titebond Wood Glues to our online shop.

The reason we started selling these glues, is because for the last 10 years we have been using them for our own production needs, and have been very impressed with the results.

A great way of protecting a timber window from the hot sun or driving rain is to add a timber window canopy.
