For the vast majority of the time, when we manufacture timber handrails, we produce them in a hardwood such as Victorian Ash.

For some of our customers though, they prefer Pine, as it is considerably cheaper than the hardwood alternative; sometimes by as much as 50%.

The 50mm dowel handrail with a flat bottom is one such product that we get a demand for in Pine.

Manufactured from finger jointed material that is 5.4 metres in length, this profile is an easy one to run through our moulder, and with all pieces being the same length, it is also an easy one to pack for delivery interstate, as can be seen in the photos below.
