Recent changes to the building standard has meant that timber handrail on a staircase must now be continuous when fixed to a wall.

This is good news for us, as we have been making these products for a number of years now.

Most of the handrail we produce in a 50mm diameter is in Victorian Ash, but recently we had a request from a stairbuilder in QLD to manufacture 500 metres of Pine handrail.

As it was going to be used for painting purposes; we were able to use finger jointed Pine, which mean that we were able to supply the whole job in 5.4 metre lengths.
