While Victorian Ash seems is by far our best selling timber species due to its affordable price, durability, and sustainability, from time to time we are asked to replicate some of our products in American Oak. One such example of this is the tapered American Oak leg we made for a local furniture manufacturer.

Tapered legs themselves are currently in extremely high demand as they complement a wide variety of furniture styles: from midcentury modern, to Scandinavian due to their clean lines and simplicity. Whether you’re looking to add legs to a furniture piece, or replace existing ones, our tapered furniture legs are a popular choice. The legs come with a 5/16-inch fixing thread pre-inserted for easy installation into either a leg plate, t-nut, or insert nut (all of which can be purchased on out online store). All that’s needed is a few coats of a nice clear lacquer to finish the timber!
