I know it is as the "Oxford" timber lounge leg, because nearly 20 years ago we started making it for a local lounge manufacturer who put it on his lounge that he named the "Oxford".

Since then we would have made well over 1 million of these donut style legs; that we have sold to lounge makers, hardware stores and furniture manufacturers. 

The design may be simple, but like all good designs, simple is usually the best !
