Timber Bump Rail For Hospitals

A local hospital here in Adelaide was recently upgraded, and we were asked to quote on supplying a timber bump rail. We put in a price and won the job.

Manufactured from Victorian Ash, the rail finished 190mm wide by 30mm thick, and is attached to the walls of the hospital, so as to protect the plaster work from being chipped by patients hospital beds.

This is not a product that we stock, but we do produce a range of round timber handrails that are also used in hospitals and aged care facilities to help patients move about more easily.
