We were recently asked by one of our good customers if we could produce a new timber handrail for them. They wanted us to make it in both Meranti (aka Maple) and Pine.

They gave us a sample of what they were looking for and we drew it up in our CAD software and then set about producing the necessary tooling so that we could make it on our moulder.

We don't often use Meranti anymore; but this particular customer required it, so we chased some down from a local supplier who had it available in long lengths and ran it through our machine along with some Pine finger jointed material.

The end result looked great. Although this is not part of our standard range of handrails that can be purchased through our online shop, it is a good example of what we can do for clients who want something different.
