In terms of turned dining table legs, the largest size that we manufacture is from 130 x 130mm Pine timber; so when we recently had a request from a customer to make them some from 180 x 180mm Jarrah, we were a little surprised.

The customer supplied their own timber and we setup a lathe and ran the 8 legs that they supplied timber for.

As you can see from the photos below; the end result is quite the beast of a leg !

We sent the legs off to the customer in Port Lincoln and asked what size table they were going on; the reply was 10 x 2 metres .... someone must have a large family .... and a lot of money !
