We’ve Expanded to New Zealand!

Since 1946, we have been turning and supplying Australians with a popular range of turned timber products. In recent decades, we have expanded that range even further, to include stainless steel, metal staircase components and building materials. We are excited to announce our expansion into New Zealand, with a range of products including stair and fence post capitals, timber corbels, furniture legs, roof finials, verandah and eave brackets, and stainless steel balustrading wire, fittings and tools.

Many of our most popular products pair perfectly with Victorian, Villa, Colonial, and Bungalow style homes commonly found in the New Zealand housing market, and can easily be shipped internationally

Stair and fence post capitals

Our range of stair and fence post capitals are compatible with many styles of homes found in New Zealand. On Victorian and Villa homes especially, with their ornate verandahs, turned timber posts, and intricate fretwork, our finely crafted capitals provide a seamless continuation of traditional design language, enhancing the elegance of entryways and fencing.

Colonial and Bungalow style homes, while generally simpler in form, still rely on proportioned timber detailing, and this product range adds a subtle yet refined finishing touch to fence lines and staircases. Our product range helps preserve the heritage aesthetic of New Zealand’s timber housing market while supporting modern restoration and new-build projects that honour these enduring design styles.

Timber corbels

Our new timber corbel range offers an ideal way to enhance the architectural character of New Zealand’s Victorian, Villa, Colonial, and Bungalow-style homes. Inside Victorian and Villa homes especially, corbels can be used to support and decorate mantelpieces, archways, shelving, and ceiling transitions, reinforcing the ornate craftsmanship and layered detailing typical of these period styles.

In Colonial and Bungalow interiors, where design tends to be more restrained, timber corbels provide a subtle architectural lift, adding warmth, proportion, and visual interest to kitchens, hallways, and living spaces without overwhelming the simplicity of the layout.

These new timber corbels act as both functional and decorative elements, helping homeowners achieve a cohesive interior aesthetic that respects traditional New Zealand timber home styles while adding refined detail and craftsmanship throughout the home.

Stainless steel balustrading wire, fittings and tools

Our stainless steel balustrade wire, fittings, and installation tools are now readily available to builders and homeowners across New Zealand, offering a durable and modern solution for external balustrading.

Made out of 316-grade stainless steel, these products provide long-lasting strength and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for New Zealand’s varied coastal and inland environments. The range includes wire cables, tensioning fittings, and specialist tools that allow for secure, professional-grade installation on staircases, decks, balconies, and interior feature spaces.

With compatibility for both timber and metal posts, our balustrade systems give designers and tradespeople the flexibility to achieve clean, minimalist lines while maintaining structural integrity. This expansion into New Zealand ensures easier access to reliable, trade-quality components that support contemporary architectural design as well as renovation and new-build projects.

From the Managing Director

“In May this year, I went to New Zealand for the first time and spent 4 weeks in a car driving around both the North and South Islands.

New Zealand is stunningly beautiful, and the landscape varies so dramatically as you traverse both islands.

I also loved the architecture of the housing, particularly the older homes, which were predominantly timber and featured decorative elements on the gables, eaves, and verandahs.

What struck me was that there are a lot of timber fences, but in many cases, fence post capitals were not used, or where they did exist, they were old and desperately in need of replacing.

It was for this reason that I thought it was a great opportunity to offer products in the New Zealand market that sell very well in Australia.”
