Wire Balustrade Fittings On Show

Wire cable is still a great style of balustrade to use on a domestic staircase. Not only does it achieve a sleek modern look, but it is also easy to install.

As can be seen in the photos above and below; the wire cable used on this Victorian Ash staircase looks great; particularly when combined with 50sq stainless posts and 50x25 rectangular handrail (both of which can also be purchased in our online shop).

The beauty of this form of balustrading is that it is not overly hard to install. We have all the tools necessary to make the job of installation as DIY friendly as possible.

This particular wire balustrade uses 3.2mm 1x19 wire cable, a long bottle screw (to create the tension required), a fork terminal and a eye bolt and rivet nut combination. If that sounds all a bit confusing, then click on this link and refer to KIT C in our online shop.
