Description
Where would you normally use a stainless steel glass clamp?
On the side of square or rectangular stainless or timber posts where glass balustrade is required.
What is it made out of?
316 grade Stainless Steel in a Satin Finish.
Are rubbers for the glass supplied with the clamp?
This clamp is supplied with rubbers to suit 8mm or 10mm thick glass.
Can it be used for exterior application?
As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel, it is more than suitable for use outside.
What fasteners are supplied?
Due to the different fixing methods available, no fasteners are supplied.
Using the IF127X - Rivet Nut M6 combined with the IF128X - Socket Cap Screw, will give the strongest bond to a metal post.
For a timber post, go to your local hardware store once you have the glass clamp to find a suitable gauge timber screw.
Without regular cleaning and maintenance discolouration of the surface of the stainless steel by corrosion (tea staining) can occur.
