Description
Where would you normally use a square intermediate post with 11 Holes on either side?
As an intermediate post to structurally support a horizontal wire cable balustrade on a deck or balcony.
On a wire balustrade, you need to have a support post approximately every 1.5 metres (when using 3.2mm wire cable).
Which fixings go with this post?
Any of the square rail supports in a sating finish.
What is it made out of?
316 Stainless Steel in a Brushed Satin Finish.
What are the important dimensions?
Overall Height: 960mm, once one rail supports have been added.
Wall Thickness: 1.6mm.
Width: 50.8mm
Depth: 50.8mm
There are 2 rows of 11 holes (each of 4mm diameter) drilled on opposite sides of the post. They are spaced 80mm apart so as to conform to regulations for wire cable balustrade.
How should you fasten it to the ground/deck?
Due to the large number of surfaces that the post could be fixed to, we do not supply any fasteners.
We suggest that you speak to a local hardware store for more info.
