Description
Where would you normally use this stainless steel handrail fitting?
As a way of covering fixings at the base of a square support post.
PLEASE NOTE : This fitting is NOT designed to go over the SSF101-S6 4-hole Base Plate. It is too small for it. It WILL fit over the SSF105-6 Base Plate (Weld-on), and the SSF108-M6 Base Plate.
What is it made out of?
316 grade Stainless Steel in a Satin finish.
Can it be used for exterior applications?
As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel, it is more than suitable for use outside.
How do you fix it to the stainless steel tube?
It doesn't need to be fixed, rather it just sits neatly at the base of a stainless support post.
Without regular cleaning and maintenance discolouration of the surface of the stainless steel by corrosion (tea staining) can occur.
