Description
Where would you normally use a stainless steel post that is pre-drilled with 11 holes on opposite sides?
As an intermediate post to structurally support a horizontal wire cable balustrade on a deck or balcony.
On a wire balustrade, you need to have a support post approximately every 1.5 metres (when using a 3.2mm wire cable).
Which saddles go with this post ?
Curved Saddle
Flat Saddle
Why are some posts 1.6mm and others are 3.0mm ?
This refers to the wall thickness of the post.
In most cases the 1.6mm wall thickness will be enough for use on intermediate posts where the wire cable passes through.
The heavier 3.0mm wall thickness is best for end and corner posts, due to the extra strain placed on these posts when tensioning the wire cable.
What is it made out of?
316 Stainless Steel in a Brushed Satin Finish.
How should you fasten it to the ground/deck?
Due to the large number of surfaces that the post could be fixed to, we do not supply any fasteners.
We suggest that you speak to a local hardware store for more info.

These posts are specially made when an order is placed. Unless the post is defective in some way, NO REFUNDS will be given if you have ordered the wrong post or you decide to change your mind and want to return it.
Without regular cleaning and maintenance discolouration of the surface of the stainless steel by corrosion (tea staining) can occur.
