- By default this product comes with Right Hand Thread M6 rivet nuts. They can be changed to Left Hand Thread on request.

- Please note that due to the saddle size, the minimum width of the handrail needs to be 60mm.

Description

A 50x50mm black, aluminium corner post designed to be used with horizontal wire balustrading. It comes standard with two rows of 11 Right Hand Thread M6 rivet nuts already inserted into adjacent sides of the post, but on request this can be changed to Left Hand Thread on both sides or one of each. Ready to be used with one of our black or stainless steel wire balustrade kits.

This particular post is intended to be used at the start or end of a run of balustrading, in the corner.

There are two rows of M6 rivet nuts inserted into adjacent sides of the post. They are spaced 80mm apart so as to conform to regulations for wire cable balustrade.

FAQs

Where would you normally use a square corner post?
As a corner post to structurally support a horizontal wire cable balustrade on a deck or balcony.
On a wire balustrade, you need to have a support post approximately every 1.5 metres (when using 3.2mm wire cable).

What is it made out of?
Black powder-coated aluminium, with a protexture finish.

Is the cover plate included?
Yes, a two part cover plate is included (see product images). A 2mm hex key will be required for assembly. 

How should you fasten it to the ground/deck?
Due to the large number of surfaces that the post could be fixed to, we do not supply any fasteners.
