Description
What is Green Wall?
Green Wall is the name given to the range of stainless steel fittings and 3.2mm wire cable (either 1x19 or 7x7) that can be used to construct vertical trellis gardens.
Where would you normally use this fitting?
This fixing is used to fasten Green Wall Posts (SSW089-6) to a timber or brick (with the aid of a masonary plug, which can be purchased from a hardware store) wall.
What is it made out of?
316 Stainless Steel.
How do I fasten the Green Wall Post to it?
The Green Wall Post (SSW089-6) simply screws onto the end of the M8 thread. To tension it up you may want to consider using the handy tensioning spanner that we sell (IF137X).
Can it be used for exterior applications?
As it is 316 grade Stainless Steel it is more than suitable to be used inside or outside.
Without regular cleaning and maintenance discolouration of the surface of the stainless steel by corrosion (tea staining) can occur.
