Description
Where would you normally use this galvanised pipe fitting? The 256 D48 Slope Cross -Middle Rail (11 degree to 29 degree) is adjustable for slopes from 11 degree to 29 degree, often used between middle rail and uprights on sloping sites and often paired with type 253 or type 255. The through tube (vertical in photo) cannot be joined within the fitting.
What size pipe does it fit to? This fitting will work with galvanised pipe (tube) of an outside diameter of approximately 48mm.
What is it made out of? All of the pipe fittings are made from malleable iron and then hot-dipped galvanised to exceed the requirements of AS NZS 4680:2006, giving a durable corrosion resistant finished surface for extended life. A second additional coating is then applied over the top of the galvanising, to enhance further the corrosion protection and to offer a premium quality, aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Can it be used for exterior application? As the fitting is hot-dipped galvanised, it is more than suitable for use outside.
How do you fix it to the galvanised pipe (tube)? No welding is required; as all pipe fittings come with a hexagonal key that allows for quick connection of the fitting to the pipe.
What other structures can this and other fittings be used to construct? Handrails, Fences and Security Fencing, Playground Equipment, Railway Guardrailings, Garment Racking, Market Stalls, Stadium Safety Railing, Cycle Racks, Shopping Trolley Bays, Sports Practice Nets, Machinery Guards and Enclosures, Road Signs, Roof Top Fall Prevention Systems, Safety Guardrails, Retail Displays and Shopfittings, Racking, Greenhouses, Exhibition Stands and Displays, Domestic Furniture, wheel Chair Access Ramps, Carports, Solar Panel Supports, Roof Guard Rails, Film Sets, Mezzanine Floos.
