Description
Where would you normally use Stainless Wire Balustrade Kit Q?
For hydraulically swaged 3.2mm cable balustrading between timber posts. (Not suitable for metal posts)
This kit can be used for angled balustrade.
What parts make up the kit ?
1 x SSW043-6 (M6 Swivel Connector - Right Hand)
1 x SSW044-6 (M6 Swivel Connector - Left Hand)
1 x SSW056-6 (Thread M6 Terminal - Right Hand)
1 x SSW070-6 (Thread M6 Terminal - Left Hand)
1 x SSW047-6 (M6 Threaded Insert - Right Hand)
1 x SSW048-6 (M6 Threaded Insert - Left Hand)
What are the fittings made out of ?
316 Stainless Steel, which means they can be used both in external and internal application.
Which wire cable rope is best suited ?
The fittings will work only with 3.2mm stainless wire cable rope.
1 x 19 configuration for the cable is the best fit, but 7 x 7 and 7 x 19 will also work.
Which tools do I need ?
The SSW056-6 (M6 Terminal Right Hand Thread) and SSW070-6 (M6 Terminal Left Hand Thread) require the use of the IF120X (Hydraulic Swager) to fasten the fitting to the wire.
Other tools that will be handy to complete the job are a IF122X (Wire Cutter), and two of the IF133X (Spanner Tensioner).
Do you have any instructions on how to install the kit ?
