Beechworth Honey Dippers
Beechworth Honey Dippers
Since the 1990's we have been making a timber honey dipper (aka swizzler). The timber we have used to make these dippers has changed over the years, mainly due to availability. For a long time we produced it from Tasmanian Leatherwood, but more recently this has been replaced Tasmanian Myrtle.
On a recent trip to the town of Beechworth in Victoria, I dropped into the Beechworth Honey Shop in the centre of town as I knew that they had been regularly purchasing our honey dippers.
I was delighted to see that the honey dippers were a prominant feature in their shop; either being sold individually or as part of honey variety packs.
The town of Beechworth is a beautiful historic town and is well worth a visit to, and if you do visit, be sure to drop in at the shop and try some of their honey, and maybe even buy some with a honey dipper included.
If Beechworth is a bit too far for you to travel to, then you can always buy a dipper from our online shop.
