ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
This is a bulk-buy product sold by the metre (also known as lineal or linear metre), which is NOT the same as a square metre.
Each board provides 125mm (12.5cm) of visible coverage. So if you purchased 100 metres of this product, you would have enough material to cover a wall that was 12.5 square metres. There is a handy calculator in the product description below that will help you work out how many metres you will need to order to cover the size wall that you have.
How to Order:
Step 1: Enter the number of metres you require in the quantity field. Minimum order quantity is 50 metres (enough to cover 6.25 square metres).
Step 2: Tick the "I have read the Order Instructions" box
Step 3: Click "Add To Cart"
Description
A 125mm Concave wall cladding in natural Accoya, designed for use outdoors.
The boards are designed to click together seamlessly for easy installation using a tongue and groove joint. For more information on how much panelling you will need to order, see the material calculator in the dropdown below.
Note: This is a bulk-buy product sold by the metre. It has a minimum purchase quantity of 50 metres.
Thickness: 19mm
Overall Width of Panel: 141mm
Visible Width of Panel (once installed): 125mm
Length: Set lengths can normally be supplied, but this will depend on what set length packs of timber that are available at the time of order. 2.4 metres would typically be the minimum, and 5.4 metres would typically be the maximum. If length is not an issue, then we will supply whatever set length material we have in stock at the time; but if length is important, then we ask that you contact us prior to placing an order to see if the length you want is available at that point in time.
What is Accoya?
Accoya is sustainably sourced Radiata Pine modified through a non-toxic process called acetylation, making it exceptionally durable and dimensionally stable for outdoor use. Think of it as Radiata Pine that’s been “pickled”!
How long does Accoya last?
Accoya comes with a 50-year warranty for above-ground use and a 25-year warranty for in-ground or freshwater applications. It is also certified for use in termite zones and is significantly more resistant to termites than untreated pine.
Does Accoya need to be finished or oiled?
No. Accoya can be installed unfinished and left to naturally weather, making it a particularly low-maintenance outdoor timber. It can also be stained or coated if you want a particular colour, although coated timber will require ongoing maintenance.
What is Accoya used for?
Accoya is commonly used for cladding, decking, doors and window mouldings, pergolas, outdoor structures and furniture. At Hammersmith, we currently offer Accoya primarily as outdoor cladding, with other profiles and products available on request.
Why choose Accoya over hardwood?
While Accoya has a premium upfront price, its exceptional durability and low maintenance can make it a worthwhile long-term investment. It is particularly useful for applications such as cladding where regular access for oiling or recoating can be difficult.
