Description

A 42x42mm Radiata Pine turned and tapered baluster, pre-sanded and ready for painting/staining. This particular baluster was specially designed to suit hamptons interiors. The exact dimensions of the baluster and turnings can be found in the CAD drawings above.

These 42mm balusters will sit perfectly in a rebated handrail or base rail, and are most commonly used in hamptons and heritage style staircase designs.

What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine.

How should you finish it ?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
If wanting to paint, a water based primer/undercoat is not a necessity (although it wouldn’t hurt), but at least 2 coats of the final colour is a must.
