Description

A radiata pine scalloped post cap designed to suit a 115 x 115mm stair or newel post, and is sanded ready and ready to paint or stain. This style is also available to suit 90mm and 155mm square posts.
Scalloped post capitals are extremely popular in hamptons, English, and heritage style design, but will match most interior design styles and tastes.

How should you finish it?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour and then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
If wanting to paint, a couple of coats of water or oil-based paint should do the trick.
