Description

A 590mm long Victorian Ash post, designed to extend the length of a newel/stair post. Measuring 90mm wide x 90mm deep, it will suit most standard stair 90sq posts.
This product is pre-sanded ready for varnish, stain, laquer or oil.

Where would you normally use it ?
On a staircase, as a way of extending the length of the various pin newels that are available.

What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Australian Oak (depending on availability it is either Victorian Ash or Tasmanian Oak).

How should you finish it ?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
