Where would you normally use treated timber window canopys (or window awnings) ?
Above a window on the outside of a building. Not only will it provide protection from rain getting on your windows, but it is also a great feature on a period style home.
What is it made out of ?
Plantation grown Radiata Pine that has been H3 treated.
What are the important dimensions ?
Overall Height : 850mm
Width of wall board : 90mm
Width of main body : 32mm

How should you finish it ?
A water based primer/undercoat is not a necessity, but at least 2 coats of the final colour is a must.
Leaving it unfinished, oiling it or using a clear lacquer is not recommended. Speak to your local paint retailer for more info.
NOTE 1: The price is for 1 side of a window canopy.
