A plain 42x42mm Victorian Ash baluster, pre-sanded and ready for painting or staining.  It is made from sustainably grown Australian hardwood.

These 42mm balusters will sit perfectly in a rebated handrail or base rail!

Plantation grown Australian Oak (depending on availability it is either Victorian Ash or Tasmanian Oak).

How should you finish it ?
If looking for a natural finish, then a clear lacquer will be fine; or you can use a stain to achieve your desired colour then use a clear lacquer to finish it off.
