We have recently added a range of ready-to-use stainless steel balustrade posts to accompany the other stainless steel balustrade fittings that we sell.
These posts are made from 316 stainless steel and are available in either a mirror or satin finish. There are also 2 types of posts available; one for flat (horizontal) balustrade and one for angled balustrade such as on a staircase. Within each type of post you can choose from 2 wall thicknesses; 1.6mm or 3.0mm. In most situations the 1.6mm will suffice, but the 3.0mm is handy for end posts when wire balustrade is being used.
A couple of years back a timber retailer in QLD found us over the internet and expressed an interest in using our range of pyramid fence post caps. As well as the standard sizes that we make; 90 x 90mm, 100 x 100mm, 115 x 115mm and 135 x 135mm; they also were keen on getting us to make some special sizes to suit the various sized timber posts that they sold.
We have been manufacturing timber cover buttons (aka domed cover plugs) for many years; and over this period we have produced a variety of different sizes and made them in a number of various timber species.
A local hospital here in Adelaide was recently upgraded, and we were asked to quote on supplying a timber bump rail. We put in a price and won the job.
Manufactured from Victorian Ash, the rail finished 190mm wide by 30mm thick, and is attached to the walls of the hospital, so as to protect the plaster work from being chipped by patients hospital beds.
